Attestation of Marriage Certificate

Applicant parents must come in person to submit the application.

Documents Required:

Attestation of Indian Marriage Certificate:

1. Filled EAP Form 2
2. One photograph (2”x2” size) with white background
3. Both husband and wife must submit copies of their passport first page, last page, and valid Malaysian visa.
4. If either spouse is staying in India, a Malaysian visa copy is not required.
5. Submit the original marriage certificate stamped by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), India, or an online-verified marriage certificate from the official Government of India website.

Attestation of Malaysian Marriage Certificate:

1. Both husband and wife must submit copies of their passport first page, last page, and valid Malaysian visa.

Attestation: Power of Attorney / Legal Documents

Attestation of Power of Attorney (Legal Documents)

Indian Executant:

1. EAP Form 2 – fill it completely.
2. One photograph (2”x2” size) with white background of the person signing (executant).
3. Passport copy – first page, last page, and valid employment visa page of the executant’s passport.
4. The Indian passport holder signing the Power of Attorney (POA) must appear in person at the High Commission of India.
5. Bring the original POA, passport, and valid Malaysian visa.
6. Two witnesses must accompany the applicant. Both witnesses must bring their original passports and valid Malaysian visas.

Malaysian Executant:

1. Bring the original POA documents with one copy. The original documents need to be attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Putrajaya.
2. Submit the attested document with one copy and your IC / Passport.

Attestation of Power of Attorney (Commercial Documents)

1. The original documents need to be attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Putrajaya.
2. Submit along with original and photocopy of documents.
3. IC copy of directors if Malaysian citizens, and passport copy of directors if not Malaysian citizens.
4. Company cover letter (mentioning the purpose of document attestation).

Global Entry Programme (GEP) for Indian Nationals

Global Entry Program (GEP) is a US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travellers upon arrival in the United States.

The procedure for GEP is as below:

Step 1:

Applicants applying for GEP must submit their application on the US Customs and Border Protection website (https://ttp.dhs.gov).

Step 2:

1. Applicant must fill up the application form “Apply for Background Verification for GEP” at (https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in) and take a print out
2. Print out of the completed application form of US Customs and Border Protection
3. One recent photograph with white background (2 x 2)
4. Original passport and its copy (front and back page) with valid visa page
5. Original Malaysia address proof and a copy of it

Follow the Step 2 process and submit all the above documents to our outsource agency IVS VMS Malaysia with a prior appointment.
